Any fraction of a pound is rounded up to the next-higher pound."Freight handling unit" means any piece, skid, pallet, carton, crate or cargo that is unitized or bundled and individually identified with or without a forkliftable base.If the recipient refuses to pay, the package will be treated as undeliverable and the sender will be responsible for all transportation charges and other fees, including all special handling fees.
"Service failure" means delivery of your package 60 seconds or more after our published delivery commitment for the Fed Ex service for that package, except as otherwise described in these terms and conditions."Ship date" or "shipment date" is the date the shipment is tendered to Fed Ex."Guide" or "Service Guide" means the Fed Ex Service Guide, as modified, amended or supplemented."In good credit standing" means: (1) that payment on the Fed Ex account is current; (2) the account is not in "cash-only" status; and, (3) for commercial or business accounts, the balance does not exceed the credit limit established by Fed Ex."Account-Specific Rates" are the rates paid by Fed Ex account holders who have discounts applied to their account and who charge their shipping to their Fed Ex account.
"Airbill" means any shipping document, manifest, label, stamp, electronic entry or similar item used to tender shipments to Fed Ex Express for transportation.
Reroute does not apply to requests made by the recipient using Fed Ex Delivery Manager to request delivery to another address.
"Fed Ex," "Fed Ex Express," "our," "us" and "we" refer to Federal Express Corporation and its officers, employees and agents (but does not include cartage agents).
"Fed Ex Express Freight" means Fed Ex First Overnight Freight, Fed Ex 1Day Freight, Fed Ex 2Day Freight and Fed Ex 3Day Freight unless the context requires otherwise.
The billable weight and chargeable weight are the greater of actual or dimensional weight.
